The Winner waterfall counts as one of the biggest in the Tennen mountains and is at the same time the most important  fall of the Schwarzenbach stream.

Especially during snowmelt in the Spring, or by thunderstorms and heavy rain in Summer, the Winner fall rages down from the upper caverns and into a powerful stream below.

The wide streambed runs steeply downwards and is covered with thick moss. At the base of the falls  the water flows in small steps with increased steepness towards the Schwarzenbach stream which is active throughtout the entire year.
